Job Description
NYLAG is seeking Staff Attorneys to join their team in NYC, focusing on Housing Court and combating economic and social injustice through advocating for those experiencing poverty and in crisis. TRU, their Tenants’ Rights Unit, is seeking attorneys to defend tenants in challenging cases and to advocate for reforms like Section 8 voucher termination. This position offers opportunities for litigation skills development and impactful community service in diverse communities.
Requirements
- Admission to New York Bar, passage of a recent NY Bar Exam, or equivalent bar passage in a UBE jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated commitment to public interest law and social justice.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
