Senior/Staff AI Engineer

XPENG is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer/Technical Lead to drive the development of AI-powered internal software development processes, toolchains, general framework and utility development to enhance developer productivity.

Requirements

• Master or Ph.D degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years in developing AI products/systems, and expertise in Python and C++.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures (GPT, Llama, QWEN, etc..).
• Hands-on expertise in LLM fine-tuning, deployment and inference optimization.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Ali Cloud) and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic, business-driven solutions.
