Sales Support Engineer

Wärtsilä is an innovative technology company looking for a Sales Support Engineer for the AMER Region North. The position involves contributing to sales and building relationships with customers, requiring technical knowledge and commercial skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying value drivers for customers, creating high-quality service proposal offers, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. Requirements

• Experience with collaborating with cross functional stakeholders
• Business and goal-oriented mind-set
• Drive business results with excellent planning and execution skills
• Good commercial understanding and capacity to transfer product technical features to commercially appealing proposals
• Bring at least two years of related experience
• Have relevant education, such as B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering / Economics /Business or similar
• Bring at least two years of related experience and experience using Microsoft Projects or Excel Gantt Chart creation
• Fluent in English and/or Spanish language skills is a benefit
• Are willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time
• Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid model, with two days per week in the office
