The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Greece, but also Turkey, Italy are possible locations. Requirements
- Developing strong expertise in Wärtsilä’s engine and product portfolio, with a deep understanding of the installed base in your assigned region
- Demonstrating a solid grasp of customer business models to identify value drivers and craft high-quality, tailored offers
- Supporting transactional sales and contributing to agreements upselling and upgrade initiatives as needed
- Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate proposal development
- Reading, analyzing, and interpreting contracts and tenders, ensuring compliance with local procurement frameworks and identifying strategic opportunities
- Communicating fluently in English within a multicultural team environment
- Proficiency in Turkish (even better if native) is essential, as the role involves daily interaction with Turkish-speaking clients and colleagues
- A reputation for building trust and credibility with both internal colleagues and external partners
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, especially in cross-cultural and cross-functional settings
- The ability to gather and analyze technical and historical data to support sales efforts and streamline information flow
- A proactive mindset in navigating complex tender documents and aligning them with Wärtsilä’s offerings
