Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The licensed practical nurse (LPN) will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, at VITAS program facilities. This involves providing direct bedside nursing care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to the interdisciplinary care plan. The role requires accurate documentation and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the state
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
• Ability to lift and transfer patients
• Close vision
• Ability to adjust focus
