Job Description
The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, under the direction of a registered nurse. This involves providing direct bedside care, evaluating patient needs, monitoring interventions, and maintaining a clean environment. The role requires a commitment to professional growth and a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain transportation to be used for work
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
- 1. Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
- At least one year of which is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit
