Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The VITAS program utilizes a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to administer nursing care to terminally ill patients. The LPN will provide direct bedside nursing care, evaluate patient needs, and collaborate with a Registered Nurse, Manager, and Team to ensure effective patient care. The role involves documentation, compliance with regulations, and participation in professional development.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Graduation from an approved school of Nursing
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the state
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
• At least one year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital setting
