Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care consistent with College Standards to individuals experiencing mental illness in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. This role focuses on patient recovery, adhering to mental health legislation and ensuring a safe and therapeutic work environment. It also includes a shift in leadership and direct patient care.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario.
- BScN Preferred.
- Certification in psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing considered an asset.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in psychiatric nursing practice.
- Meet the Royal nursing and hospital standards for mandatory education.
- Recognized leadership skills.
