Job Description
The Assistant Girls' Basketball Coach supports the Head Coach in leading, organizing, and developing the girls' basketball program.
Requirements
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience in basketball (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules, and strategies
- Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Completion of state or VHSL-required coaching education/training
- Background check and clearance per school division's policy
