Assistant Baseball Coach

Support the head coach in all aspects of the baseball program, including training, strategy, player development, safety, sportsmanship, and compliance with VHSL and school district rules and policies.

Requirements

• Experience playing or coaching baseball at high school or comparable level preferred
• Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and strategies
• Familiarity with VHSL rules, eligibility requirements, and regulations
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Teaching certification (preferred, may vary by school/district)
• Compliance with background checks; school district hiring and VHSL certification requirements
