Claims Assistant

As a Claims Assistant within our European Syndicate, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality claims handling and advisory service. This position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of claims involving various liabilities and provides the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in underwriting, loss prevention, and legal functions.

Requirements

• Handle assigned claims in accordance with company procedures, provide advice on claims related issues and identify the need for loss prevention activity.
• Promote the relationship between the Club and existing Members for which the Claims team is responsible.
• Maintain and keep updated electronic correspondence and claim files, and contribute to the continuous development of company procedures and systems.
• Support the Syndicate Underwriting objectives, and perform any other duties that are within the scope of personal skills and abilities.
• Attend appropriate training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
