Job Description
Steamship Mutual is seeking a Claims Associate to join their Americas Syndicate team. This role focuses on FDD/Defence and P&I claims, providing advice and ensuring compliance. The position offers opportunities for both domestic and international travel, as well as professional development, and involves working independently and as part of a team. This is a hybrid position.
Requirements
- Proven background in shipping litigation and dispute resolution
- Degree educated preferred, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships
- Highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic
- Ability to deliver high quality work and prioritise workload
- Proactive and able to use own initiative
- Ability to work with people at all levels
