Job Description
Steamship Mutual is seeking a Claims Associate to provide P&I and FDD claims handling services to Members from Hong Kong, the Mainland China, and Taiwan. This role involves handling claim files, providing advice to Members, processing large claims, and contributing to company procedures and development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of P&I law and strong communication skills.
Requirements
- Promote member relationship, represent Club at senior level.
- Handle claims in accordance with company procedures.
- Process large claims, including requested by Syndicate Manager.
- Ensure electronic correspondence is promptly filed.
- Contribute to company procedures and systems.
- Produce relevant articles for Club publications.
- Participate in meetings with brokers and service providers.
- Understand the importance of the Club/Member relationship.
