Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care, following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, to patients under the direction of Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care. This role involves utilizing the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- De-escalation Training
- Aseptic technique
- Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
- Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery
