Job Description
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in One Day Surgery, Endoscopy, and Recovery at Springfield, VT. The RN will provide nursing care under the scope of the Department of Nursing and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Training and experience in skills like de-escalation and aseptic technique are required.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
- De-escalation Training
- Aseptic technique
- Six months of nursing experience (desirable)
- Nursing Care Knowledge
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in technology in care delivery
