Shift Supervisor

The Shift Supervisor supports daily operations at a shelter by ensuring client services run smoothly, safely, and on time.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of experience in human services, preferably with individuals experiencing homelessness or substance use issues
• Ability and willingness to obtain FDNY F-80 Certificate of Fitness within 90 days of hire
• Ability to obtain CPR and NYC Food Handler’s certifications, as needed
• Flexible and available to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Approaches sensitive situations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
