Job Description
The Shift Supervisor supports daily operations at a shelter, ensuring smooth client services, facility safety, and a positive environment. This position requires supervision of activities, managing schedules, ensuring staff compliance, and coordinating client transportation. Candidates should be able to obtain an FDNY 80 certificate within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Supervise shelter activities and maintain a safe environment.
- Conduct safety checks, fire drills, and substance use screenings.
- Manage client appointments and schedule activities.
- Administer breathalyzers and monitor clients returning from appointments.
- Ensure accurate paperwork and compliance with regulations.
- Flexible availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
