Senior Accountant

Rightsline is a leading IP Commerce SaaS platform that empowers rights holders to maximize portfolio value, reduce risk, and increase profitability. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting process improvements as the company scales.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience within a high-growth environment
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a technology company (SaaS experience strongly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CPA, CMA, or MBA are highly desirable
• Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax compliance requirements, including reporting obligations and basic regulatory knowledge
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP, with hands-on experience applying ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) in a SaaS or subscription-based business model
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities, with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build relationships across teams and functions
• Experience leading a team, demonstrate ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, modeling, and data analysis tools
