Job Description
RecargaPay is building a digital ecosystem for Brazilian consumers and small businesses, aiming to connect them with financial services. They are looking for a Principal DevEx Engineer to improve the developer experience, focusing on streamlining onboarding, productivity, and leveraging AI to enhance engineering capabilities. The role involves translating business needs into technical solutions and driving modernization across AWS.
Requirements
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Software Development
- Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering roles (Java/Python)
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and relational databases
- Solid understanding of web and mobile application architectures, including security
- Expertise in Domain-Driven Design and microservices architecture
- Demonstrated experience defining and executing architectural roadmaps
- Deep, practical experience with AWS cloud-native development
- Advanced experience architecting VPC topologies
- Expertise in AWS security hardening and compliance controls
- Deep understanding of container security, image signing, ECR scanning, and OPA/Rego policy design for admission controllers
- Proficiency in OpenTelemetry design and application of RED/USE methodologies
- Strong policy-as-code practice for security/SRE guardrails
- Experience automating application stack provisioning
- Deep knowledge of progressive delivery (canary, blue/green) and service mesh
- Expertise in GitOps workflows
- Proficiency in FinOps mindset
- Experience leading AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews
- Strong FinOps mindset
- Practical understanding of service catalogs
- Experience with CI/CD automation
- Exposure to edge computing and CDN optimization
- Experience integrating AI-assisted tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, LLM based linters)
