IT Infrastructure Engineer

IT Infrastructure Engineer (with Cloud) position at Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. The role involves supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-prem and cloud environments. Responsibilities include monitoring, backups, patching, incident resolution, and collaborating with teams/vendors.

Requirements

• Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in IT or related field
• 3–5 years in network/server troubleshooting & support
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, storage systems, backup solutions, and network security
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, server virtualization, and networking devices/tools
• Administration knowledge of Microsoft Server/Windows platforms and network security & troubleshooting
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance guidelines (e.g., SC TRM, BNM RMiT)
• Strong team player with ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Willingness to work on shifts with minimal supervision
