Job Description

This position offers a challenging opportunity to represent immigrants and advocate for justice in NYC.
Requirements
- Representing immigrants in federal court proceedings (appeals, habeas petitions, etc.)
- Collaborating with internal and external partners on impact litigation
- Developing appellate litigation at federal district and circuit courts
- Engaging in civil litigation and settlement negotiations
- Acting as a liaison to partner organizations
- Performing other duties as needed
- Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
