Job Description
The Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for the development and execution of small capital and OPEX projects at the Geismar site. This role involves performing engineering analysis, vendor performance, and collaboration with various stakeholders to improve the lifecycle cost of projects. Responsibilities include managing projects from initiation to completion, providing Q/A support, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Utilizes the MCMP procedure to progress projects.
- Manages technical projects from initiation to completion.
- Provides Q/A support to other Project Leads.
- Leads selection of alternative studies.
- Manages contract engineering services.
- Oversees project safety and reliability.
- Prepares design documentation and reports.
- Works with CAD software.
- Troubleshoots problems and develops solutions.
- Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Defines Schedule.
