Underwriting Trainee, Property & Casualty (12-month contract)

Join our underwriting team as an Underwriting Trainee and develop your skills in analyzing business risks, understanding customers and their needs, and accepting risks in a profitable manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in business, mathematics, economics or finance
• 0-2 years of work experience (not necessarily in insurance)
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
• Ability to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions
• Strong negotiation skills
• Initiative driven and self-starter
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrated organization skills and abilities
• Willingness to complete professional designation(s) and continued insurance education
