Job Description
Lear Plainfield is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Quality Department. This role focuses on ensuring product quality through PPAP, data analysis, statistical process control, and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver with a proactive approach to quality improvement.
Requirements
- Executing PPAP process for components and assemblies
- Coordination and steering of supplier PPAP submissions
- Reviewing and analyzing data for quality
- Applying statistical process control (SPC) methods
- Communicating quality requirements and status
- Creating and analyzing internal quality reports
- Driving suppliers to timely completion
- Creating Supplier QN's
