Quality Engineer

Linamar is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain high quality standards for their products through design, development, and process improvement. The role involves managing PPAP, troubleshooting customer concerns, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position focuses on data analysis, root cause analysis, and process enhancement.

Requirements

• Develop and manage essential quality documents (Process Control Plans, Work Instructions, Gauge Instructions, etc.).
• Participate in the development and review of product and process documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Complete and submit PPAP packages and samples.
• Monitor Customer Specific Requirements and customer portals.
• Evaluate and approve PPAP submissions from suppliers.
• Collaborate with core team on ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Provide training on new products.
• Perform internal/external audits.
• Interpret standards and customer requirements.
