Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will lead the operations team for a generating equipment plant, ensuring safe operation, efficient operation, and compliance with regulations. This role involves direct staff management, equipment maintenance, operational reporting, and adherence to safety standards. The manager will be the primary point of contact for critical communications regarding plant operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred
• 10+ years of power plant or similar experience
• 5+ years’ experience supervising technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel
• Experience leading a represented workforce
• Valid driver’s license
• Occasional overnight travel
• Ability to work in standard office environment with computer and office equipment
• Physical ability to perform duties including standing, stairs, ladder climbing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Working in hazardous conditions (toxic fumes, heat, noise, steam, combustible gases, rotating machinery, etc.)
• Participation in Fitness for Duty Program
