Job Description
This aircraft electrical system technician position involves performing electrical system modifications on military aircraft, primarily within the T6 modification team. The role requires a self-motivated individual comfortable with minimal supervision, capable of working independently for an extended period, and familiar with basic mechanical skills. The position entails travel and adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification desired
- 3+ years of professional experience in required task area
- US Military Aircraft Maintenance and/or wiring experience required
- Knowledgeable on wiring diagrams/schematics, logic drawings, layouts, wire lists, and prints
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits
- Wire Termination experience desired
- Basic knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 desired
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively required
- Basic knowledge or understanding of IPC/WHMA-A-620 desired
- Capable of standing for long periods of time
- Ability to visually inspect machines
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
