Job Description
InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa is seeking a Head Chef to lead the Restaurant Le Lotus, a symbolic restaurant on pilotis in Tahiti. The role involves managing the kitchen, ensuring excellent food quality, and fostering a positive work environment. The candidate will lead a team of chefs and housekeepers, develop menus, and contribute to business development.
Requirements
- Confirmed experience as a Head Chef in a high-end establishment (hospitality or gastronomy)
- Training in culinary arts or hotel management (Master 2 or equivalent)
- Excellent mastery of culinary techniques, creativity and innovation
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP)
- Ability to manage a team, motivate and train employees
- Sharp sense of responsibility, rigor and organization
- Mastery of software and planning tools
- Mastery of French, English is an asset
- Customer service skills
