Job Description
Hungryroot is a remote-first company with a headquarters in New York City and employees distributed across the U.S. We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Fulfillment Operations team in Indianapolis. This individual will be responsible for formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring materials & resources, and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Operations, Logistics or similar
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role (manufacturing/fulfillment)
- Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, such as NetSuite
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel) and/or Google Docs/Sheets
- Experience working in an Automated Pick Environment
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Experience with Inventory Control and Processes
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Continuous improvement experience
- Familiar with developing and launching lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc)
