Job Description
The Youth Care Professional I supports residents and families in a trauma-informed environment, fostering relationships and promoting independence. This role involves providing relationship-based care, including mentoring, emotional support, life skills training, and community participation. It also necessitates safety, emergency response, and documentation.
Requirements
- CPR certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire)
- Valid NYS driver’s license (minimum 1 year clean driving record and insurance coverage)
- Knowledge of knowledge, skills, and abilities related to communication, ethics, competence, and building relationships.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to complete all required documentation in timely fashion
