Job Description
The Youth Care Professional I provides relationship-based, competence-centered, and trauma-informed services to youth and families to support their overall well-being and potential. This role involves building trust, creating supportive environments, assisting with activities, and responding to safety issues, ensuring a safe and productive atmosphere. It requires maintaining vigilance, supervision, and documentation.
Requirements
- CPR certification required or obtained within 60 days of hire
- Valid NYS driver’s license for minimum of 1 year
- Knowledge of emotional competence, communication and interpersonal skills
