Job Description
We're looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our backend systems, ensuring they can scale to meet the needs of our growing customer base. You'll be responsible for assessing our current architecture, identifying areas for improvement, and setting the technical direction for our next phase of growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems
- Strong CS foundation and deep technical expertise
- Recent production experience with Python and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with sensitive data at volume (financial, health, or similarly regulated domains)
- IC at heart, with a focus on building and shipping rather than managing
