Job Description
Heron Data is hiring Platform Engineers to build the systems that make document automation work for lenders, funders, fintechs, and more. The role involves building infrastructure, internal tools, and platform primitives that ensure the backend stays fast and reliable as volume grows. The ideal candidate is a backend engineer with 3-6 years of experience who has worked at a startup or growth-stage company and knows what it feels like to build something that actually matters.
Requirements
- Strong CS foundation (degree or equivalent depth)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP)
- Databases, CI/CD, and reliability
- Python programming skills
- 3-6 years of experience as a backend engineer at a startup or growth-stage company
