Job Description
Welding shell plating, fabricated components, vessels, or other structural assemblies according to specifications. This involves both general welding tasks and the possible handling of equipment and hazardous conditions. It requires strong welding skills and a commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Previous welding experience or training required.
- Ability to qualify in two gas shielded FCAW processes (71T-1 and 811N3).
- Knowledge of welding characteristics of metal.
- Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and any assigned shift.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety instructions and warnings.
