Genentech is seeking a Director, Data Product Owner to develop and manage robust Data products across the company. The role will shape and implement the evolving data strategy, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead a product team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of combined experience in data-product management, data-based management, key pharmaceutical/biotechnology customer data assets, etc.
- Proven expertise in owning the full product lifecycle, including roadmap creation, technical system integration, and complex pharmaceutical data ecosystems.
- Strong leadership skills to manage and inspire talent, manage budgets and resource allocation, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical data system performance and health metrics into actionable business insights.
- Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or related graduate-level qualification), work experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry, etc.
