Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Director, Therapeutic Area Lead, CVRM to drive the medical strategy for specific therapeutic areas and lead a team of Medical Directors/Medical Science Directors. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of clinical, market, and access landscapes, and be able to build capabilities in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Post-graduate degree required (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD)
- 15 or more years of pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience
- 10 or more years of Medical Affairs experience, with prior launch experience and a minimum of 5 years of people management experience within industry
- Scientific credibility and enterprise thinking
- Superb collaboration, influencing, and communication skills
- Successful track record of collaborating, coaching, and influencing outcomes in complex organizations and projects
- Understanding of corporate legal and compliance groups, finance, and large-scale budget development, management, and administration
