Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist III

The EHS Specialist III is responsible for leading and executing environmental, health, and safety activities at the Warren, Michigan location, ensuring a safe workplace for employees and protecting the environment through compliance. The role involves managing safety programs, conducting investigations, and collaborating with other departments to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance employee well-being. It's a hands-on position focusing on proactive safety and environmental protection.

Requirements

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field
• 3+ years of EH&S-related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ISO systems such as 14001, 45001, or other EH&S accreditations
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement tools like 8D and Pareto Analysis
• Knowledge of EH&S regulatory requirements at the federal and state level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Project management and organizational skills
