Medical Assistant

Family Care Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide care for clinic patients under supervision of the physician or nurse practitioner. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for escorting patients, taking vital signs, and documenting information in patient charts. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a formal medical assisting program, and 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of formal training program as a medical assistant required
• 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, Electronic Medical Record experience and health insurance preferred
• RMA or CMA certification preferred
• BLS preferred
