Job Description
East Side House is seeking an Academic Instructor to provide academic support to students in the Urban Scholars Community School. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Board of Education Certification, a Bachelor's Degree, and at least one year of teaching experience. The role is a seasonal part-time position with a 5-hour work schedule, typically working September to June.
Requirements
- New York State Board of Education Certification
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum one (1) year of teaching experience required
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Experience teaching in elementary or secondary education
