Visits and Events Organiser

We are looking for an energetic Visits and Events Organiser to join the team and support the delivery of a varied programme of visits and events. Join a fast paced, service focussed team responsible for planning and organising Official Visits to New Zealand and National Commemorative Events.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in event management
• Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
• Preparing and following event budgets
• Risk managements and health and safety practice experience
• Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Experience with Pacific cultures, values, languages, and ways of working (preferred)
