Sr. Manager, Payroll

Responsible for the strategic planning and management of payroll and related benefits functions. Oversees all aspects of the organization wide payroll process, provides subject area knowledge, and manages activities to ensure successful and compliant close outs.

Requirements

• Manages, delegates and reviews assigned work.
• Provides coaching, counseling and staff development.
• Evaluates performance and applies organizational policies and procedures.
• Oversees all aspects of the organization wide payroll process.
• Provides subject area knowledge to the organization for technical areas related to payroll and related benefits and taxation.
• Coordinates the organization wide annual budgeting of payroll and related benefits.
• Manages all necessary activities to ensure successful and compliant close outs of month-end, quarter-end and year-end.
• Works collectively with the management group on the development of organizational objectives.
• Performs or assigns and reviews technical research of payroll and related benefits to ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Serves as a member of KCAB’s Covered Entity and is responsible for ensuring the privacy and security of Protected Health Information in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and KCAB Policy 1040.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
