Team Lead Computational Cancer Biology (m/f/d)

We are seeking an inspiring and strategically minded leader to head our Computational Biology team dedicated to Cancer Target Discovery. In this role, you will lead a talented group of computational biologists who operate at the forefront of cancer research, driving the in-silico identification and validation of novel therapeutic targets.

Requirements

• PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Proven track record (5+ years) of leadership in a computational biology or data science setting, preferably in oncology.
• Expertise in machine learning/AI, statistical modeling, and integrative analysis applied to multi-omics datasets.
• Strong foundation in cancer biology, including target discovery and validation concepts (e.g., CRISPR/perturbation screens, pathway/network inference, biomarker strategies)
• Collaborative leader with excellent people skills, stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering impact at program/portfolio level
