Sommelier

The Sommelier will cultivate the best guest experience possible by combining food and wine expertise. Responsible for managing daily bar and beverage functions, developing a cocktail program, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in culinary arts preferred
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
• Technical school or on-the-job formal training in Wine and Spirits preferred
• Strong knowledge of wine & spirits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of math
• Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to be on feet for a long period of time
• Ability to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
