Design Engineer

BKF is seeking a Design Engineer to join their collaborative onsite team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves supporting Land Development projects, preparing designs using standard techniques, and gaining hands-on experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and a California E.I.T. certification are key requirements. Requirements

• Assist in the design and development of site plans for residential, commercial, mixed-use, roadway, highway, and public works projects.
• Prepare grading and drainage plans and designs using standard engineering practices and software tools.
• Support the preparation of engineering reports, feasibility studies, and master planning documents.
• Collaborate with project engineers and stakeholders.
• Review plans and calculations for accuracy and constructability.
