Design Engineer

BKF, a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their onsite team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves supporting Land Development projects, preparing site plans using standard techniques, and contributing to various stages of the development process. This position offers hands-on experience and is supported by a collaborative team and the company's Great Place to Work certification.

Requirements

• Assist in the design and development of site plans for residential, commercial, mixed-use, roadway, highway, and public works projects.
• Prepare grading and drainage plans and designs using standard engineering practices.
• Create designs and plans for land development projects, including potable water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Support the preparation of engineering reports, feasibility studies, and master planning documents.
• Collaborate daily with project engineers and stakeholders.
• Review plans and calculations for accuracy and constructability.
