Design Engineer

BKF, a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Design Engineer with experience in civil infrastructure design to join their onsite team in Sacramento, CA. The role involves assisting with Land Development projects, preparing designs, and collaborating with senior engineers, contributing to projects through conceptual to construction documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and a California E.I.T. certification are key requirements. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in site development and design of residential/commercial subdivisions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• EIT or FE certification preferred
• Familiarity with documents, specifications, and design plans
• Exposure to public agency standards and permitting processes
