Banc of California is seeking an SVP, Relationship Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of primarily private clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in sales or relationship management and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. The role is responsible for growing revenue, providing financial advice, and building strong relationships with clients and referral sources.
Requirements
- Develop and manage a portfolio of primarily privately-held business clients
- Act as lead negotiator with prospects & clients
- Grow revenue by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing client relationships
- Provide financial advice to clients and identify and sell appropriate bank products and services
- Build strong relationships with referral sources, centers of influence, etc.
- Structures and underwrites credits jointly with Loan Portfolio Managers
- Answers direct, telephonic or email questions from clients and staff and directs callers to proper Company personnel when necessary
- Assumes responsibility for various department functions in the absence of staff members or in overload situations
