Engineering Technicians provide CADD and field support services for municipal infrastructure improvement projects. They apply basic civil engineering design principles and construction methods in the office and in the field. The position involves working in a team environment and taking on the role of resident project representative (RPR) in the field.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-year Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or a Technical Degree in Drafting
- 2-5 years of experience
- Working knowledge and willing to become proficient in AutoCAD/Civil-3D design software
- Experience with other CADD software such as Google-SketchUP Pro or ARCMap GIS
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows/Office products
- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
