The Engineering Technician will work in the Transportation Group, providing CADD and field support services for design and construction of highway, urban roadway, and municipal projects. The position involves working in a team environment, utilizing computer-aided design software, and communicating with contractors and supervisors.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A 2-year Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or a Technical Degree in Drafting (highly desirable)
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience
- Working knowledge and willingness to become proficient in AutoCAD/Civil-3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and MicroStation Connect design software
- Experience with other CADD software (considered a plus)
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows/Office products
- Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one)
