Engineering Technicians provide CADD and field support services for municipal infrastructure improvement projects, applying basic civil engineering design principles and construction methods. They work in a team environment, perform CADD work, and may take on the role of resident project representative in the field.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-year Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or Technical Degree in Drafting
- 2-5 years of experience
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil-3D design software
- Microsoft Windows/Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to interact with people and work in team environments
- Detail orientation, self-motivation, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills
